These Terms of Service govern your use of coaching services provided by Tom Herbert and USEFULCOACH LTD (collectively ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘Tom Herbert’) at useful.coach. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Services
We provide online coaching services for athletic performance and general wellness, which may include:
- Personalised training programmes
- Nutrition guidance
- Video and text-based coaching consultations
- Access to educational content and resources
The specific services included depend on the package or subscription you purchase.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use our services.
Account registration
To access coaching services, you must register with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.
Payments and billing
- Subscriptions: Billed monthly or annually as specified at purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Packages: One-time payments for time-limited coaching access. Access expires at the end of the specified period.
- Single purchases: One-time payments for individual services (e.g., consultation calls).
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Cancellation and refunds
- Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time through your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
- Packages: No refunds once coaching has commenced. If you have not yet received any coaching, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Single purchases: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis if the service has not been delivered.

Your obligations
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Communicate honestly about your health status, training history, and any medical conditions
- Follow coaching guidance responsibly and within your capabilities
- Not share your account access or coaching materials with others
- Respect scheduled appointments and provide reasonable notice for cancellations
Coaching relationship
Our coaching relationship is collaborative. While we provide expert guidance, you retain full responsibility for:
- Deciding whether to follow any advice provided
- Consulting healthcare professionals for medical concerns
- Your own training decisions and their outcomes

Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Breach these terms
- Engage in abusive or disrespectful behaviour
- Provide false or misleading information
- Fail to pay for services
Upon termination, your access to coaching services and materials will cease.
Limitation of liability

Privacy
Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
